A 23-year-old has made a huge £180,000 by selling items such as air fresheners, deodorant and baby changing mats online.
Luke Williams started selling old mobile phones on eBay while working on a building site as his salary didn't cover his bills. He branched out to source household items from wholesalers, and began selling them on Amazon in June 2021.
Luke started making £1000 a month and after his earnings increased to £30,000 a month he quit his job as a builder in January 2022. In just twelve months he has made £180,000 of profit.

Luke, from Bristol, said: "I only wanted to make an extra £1,000 a month as it would help me with the extra payments I had. I went to university, studied building and surveying and went to work on a building site."
"I just wasn't making enough money. I came across Amazon FBA and realised I could buy from wholesalers and sell on the app too. What I sell ranges from air fresheners, to phones and kids' toys. Thornton's chocolate are really popular at the minute."
Luke said most of his profit has come from the past six months and said the cost of living crisis has played a role. He added: "It's not just food prices that have rocketed, so have petrol prices. People don't want to be leaving the house and driving to the supermarket.
"If you buy things on Amazon, you can get them cheaper as you don't have to pay to get to the supermarket either."
Luke's earnings means he has been able to pay off his £17,000 Mercedes Benz and fly business class to Abu Dhabi. Since starting the business, Luke has also hired two members of staff to prepare and source the products.
