Austin warehouse fire leaves building a total loss; 400 customers without power

A warehouse in north Austin was declared a total loss after a fire late Tuesday night.
Around 10:59 p.m., firefighters responded to the 2600 block of Buell Avenue, where the fire was burning through the roof of the structure. According to the Austin Fire Department, 75% of the building was on fire.
Additional crews were requested to the scene due to the size of the fire. After three hours on scene, it was controlled.
Crews will remain on scene throughout the morning to extinguish hot spots. Officials said no one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported.
According to Austin Energy, 400 customers are without power due to damaged power lines from the fire.
